I am focused on early stage founders building incredible companies.
Eric Friedman has been an early stage investor and operator for the past 15 years. Today as a Fractional COO & Executive Coach, he is in service to great founders building incredible companies as the founder of Building The Machine. His mission is to be the best advisor in the world through coaching, operating, and investing.
Beginning at Union Square Ventures he was able to learn about the craft of VC and how high growth companies operate. After the firm invested in Foursquare, he joined as the first full time BD and first sales hire building the flywheels for local, national, and international revenue for 6 years. Next, he went to Expa investing in early stage teams. Helping companies they created, and spinning up the early stage accelerator program, he invested directly in and advised 20+ companies. For the past few years Eric has been a Fractional COO and Executive Coach for high growth teams, and most recently a Venture Partner at Company Ventures in NYC.Â
